“Clementine makes me feel uplifted, empowered, more confident and less stressed. As shift workers, NHS staff have messed up circadian rhythms so using the app to help you sleep in the day after a night shift is great and if you use it consistently for day and night shifts, your brain associates app usage with sleep. I often work a few hours late so get home late and don’t have much time to wind down before I have to go to bed, ready to get up early again the next morning. This, plus laying in bed and running through the events of the day worrying “did I document that?”, “did I do all I could for that patient?”, “I hope that baby survives” means it can be difficult to switch off and relax but the app can help with that.”
